This 24 inch long stunner is made from huge carnelian nugget beads and Indian chalcedony. Carnelian is actually a form of chalcedony, so the stones look beautiful together. It is approximately 18 inches long and contains 1800s Venetian whiteheart trade beads from West Africa, pipestone from Ghana (also called bauxite, although some people say these are different materials~~I don’t know), red and white striped Bohemian trade beads also traded in West Africa. The center-pieces are older Telsum amulets, handmade in Ethiopia. The wire, hook, and chain are all sterling silver. This necklace is a one-of-a-kind original.
